Elizabeth is a registered patent agent at Thomas | Horstemeyer. Her engineering background and extensive experience in research and industry give her a unique perspective to prepare and prosecute patent applications across a broad range of technologies including various mechanical and electrical arts.
During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Elizabeth held research positions at the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation at Iowa State University. Her research focused on developing radiographic inspection techniques to detect flaws to prevent part and/or system failure utilizing real-time imaging, image processing, and image analysis. Elizabeth broadened her research experience while working at Pioneer Hi-Bred International and Boeing.Elizabeth has considerable experience in telecommunications, having worked at a Nortel distributor and Avaya / Lucent Technologies. She served as subject matter expert for call center, wireless solutions, and emerging technologies, and provided technical assurance and validation of hardware and software solutions. As a Senior Systems Design Engineer, Elizabeth designed the more complex telecommunication solutions for single and multi-site systems at large enterprise and global customers in ecommerce, healthcare, manufacturing, and global computer solution providers.
