Charles is a member of the firm's prosecution section and practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including post grant patent proceedings, rendering of legal opinions, prosecution in trademarks and copyrights, etc.
Charles' prosecution experience includes, but is not limited to, a wide range of electrical, optical, and electromechanical technologies. In particular, Charles' experience includes DSL technologies, optics, microelectronics, systems utilizing GPS, automated integrated circuit design, application software, computer architecture, integrated circuit packaging, internet technologies, and personal communication services.
Charles has successfully prosecuted and managed hundreds of patent applications for his clients, including many corporate clients, universities, start-up companies, and individuals.
As a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Charles is an active member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Georgia Bar and the Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association.
