Arvind is experienced in all areas of patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, opinion preparation, licensing, and related client counseling.  He has extensive experience with management of patent portfolios for several Fortune 500 companies.  Arvind has written hundreds of patents for various technologies including electrical circuitry, communications systems & components (electrical & optical), image capture devices, mobile device technologies, power applications, mechanical systems, RF technologies, and many other technologies.  He has also provided various other intellectual property related services to clients of various sizes, such as due diligence services as well as the drafting of confidentiality agreements, IP sales agreements, and other agreements.

Prior to joining Thomas | Horstemeyer, Arvind worked as a software engineer for Motorola on CDMA network infrastructure deployments. He also worked for two years as a software engineer for a startup company developing enterprise applications for mobile and handheld devices. The company and its technology were eventually acquired, and soon thereafter Arvind entered law school. During law school, he clerked for Thomas | Horstemeyer during a summer where he was involved in patent prosecution.


Arvind is admitted to practice in Georgia as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.


Arvind is currently a member of the Executive Committee for the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia.  Arvind is also an active member of the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia and the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
