Matthew is a member of the electrical/computer practice group at Thomas | Horstemeyer. Matthew has experience prosecuting patent applications in a variety of technologies, including computer software, e-commerce, electric power transmission, and network security.
Prior to joining Thomas | Horstemeyer, Matthew did work in data mining, including processing and analyzing unstructured data sets, web data extraction, and statistical computing. He has also worked with numerous programming languages and has significant programming experience.
Matthew began at Thomas | Horstemeyer as a summer associate during law school. While attending the University of Georgia School of Law, Matthew focused on intellectual property and was a member of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. He also worked in the University’s Technology Commercialization Office, where he assisted in the licensing and commercialization of technologies in a wide range of disciplines.
Matthew is licensed to practice in Georgia and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
